The Experiment

  1. Whether or not the client's goals were entered into Ambiki's system (e.g. client has a Plan of Care (POC) with goals set up on Ambiki).
  2. Whether or not the client was an articulation client.

 

Case One: Articulation Client with Goals in Ambiki's System

In this scenario, the client was working on the production of the /w/ and /f/ phonemes in the initial word position. The AI was successful in focusing on these specific goals during the transcript analysis. The output was an in-depth visit note that incorporated the client's goals, prompting data, the number of trials conducted, and phoneme-level scoring.

Case Two: Articulation Client Without Goals in Ambiki's System

Without pre-existing goals, Tenalog™ was still able to generate a valuable visit note based solely on the session's transcript. However, the AI analyzed a broader set of words, covering a myriad of phonemes across different positions, highlighting its adaptability to various contexts.

Case Three: Non-Articulation Client with Goals in Ambiki's System

With pronunciation scoring turned off, Tenalog™ could still link the objectives worked on in the session to the client's goals. In these cases, the AI left fields such as correct trials and total trials blank, which can be filled by the therapist.

Case Four: Non-Articulation Client Without Goals in Ambiki's System

Even without specific goals or pronunciation scoring, Tenalog™ was able to generate a useful visit note based purely on the session transcript, demonstrating its potential in different client situations. This scenario would also be applicable to Occupational Therapists (OTs) or Physical Therapists (PTs) using Tenalog™ to generate their visit notes.
