Summary by Persona (Grouped by Role)

👩‍⚕️ Clinicians / Therapists

  • Therapists on the Professional plan can use AI Scribe (Beta) to turn spoken or written session notes into clinical documentation. Discharge links and reminders now work correctly, treatment reports open more reliably, and therapists can add credentials and license numbers beneath their signatures.

🧑‍💼 Admins

  • Admins can benefit from improved discharge documentation and consolidated invoices with detailed service information. Billing staff also have a new Billing home page to track claims, remittances, authorizations, and other items needing attention.

💳 Billers / Guardians

  • Billers: Billers can review claims needing attention from the new Billing home page, identify claims with $0 payments or patient responsibility, and view detailed services on consolidated invoices.

  • Guardians/Patients: Consolidated invoices now show detailed service information in the patient portal and on printed invoices.

🚀 New Feature - AI Scribe (Beta) Available to All Practices

👥 Audience: Therapists on a Professional account

🛠️ Steps to Access: AI Scribe (Beta) is now available to every practice. Open any clinical document (visit note, evaluation, or plan of care) and click the AI Scribe button at the top of the form. Professional Limited accounts see the button with an upgrade note; upgrading the seat to Professional turns it on. No setup is needed by your administrator.

📢 What's new?: AI Scribe is out of pilot and available to everyone. Talk through a session in your own words, and AI Scribe writes what you said into the right fields of your document for you to review, edit, and sign. Dictation is saved as you go, so you can pause and pick up where you left off. You can also edit the transcript and fill the document again as many times as you like. If your browser can't use a microphone, you can type or paste your notes instead. Nothing is ever added without your review, your own writing is always kept, and patient identity details are never filled in by AI. Filling a document usually takes under a minute.

🛠️ Fix / Improvement - Discharge Links and Reminders Work Correctly

👥 Audience: Therapists

❗ Issue: Discharge sessions on the schedule had no link to the discharge, and the home page could keep asking for a discharge that was already on file.

✅ Action Steps: None. Discharge sessions on the schedule now link to the discharge, and the home page no longer asks for a discharge that is already on file.

🛠️ Fix - Treatment Reports Open Reliably During Invoice Updates

👥 Audience: Billers, Therapists

❗ Issue: A treatment report could occasionally fail to open while its invoices were being updated.

✅ Action Steps: None.

🚀 New Feature - Detailed Service Information on Consolidated Invoices

👥 Audience: Billers, Patients/Guardians

🛠️ Steps to Access: Open or print a consolidated invoice, or view it in the patient portal.

📢 What's new?: Consolidated invoices now list every service on each included invoice, with the date of service, description, billing code, units and amount, both for your team and for families in the patient portal and on the printed invoice.

🚀 New Feature - Add Credentials and License Numbers to Signatures

👥 Audience: Therapists

🛠️ Steps to Access: Profile > Signatures.

📢 What's new?: You can now add your degree, credentials, and state license numbers after your name under your signature. Save a new signature with the new "Credentials and license numbers" field filled in. Leave it blank to keep printing your name and credential.

🚀 New Feature - New Claim Triage Counts on the Billing Dashboard

👥 Audience: Admins and billers

🛠️ Steps to Access: Billing dashboard, Areas to triage. Same access as the other triage counts.

📢 What's new?: The billing dashboard now shows how many claims came back as not covered with the patient responsible, and how many came back with a $0 payment for another reason. Click either number to open the matching treatment reports.

🚀 New Feature - Billing Home Page for Claims and Billing Tasks

👥 Audience: Billing staff (users with the Billing Administration or Accounting / Finance job role), and anyone who picks the Billing home in their Dashboard settings

🛠️ Steps to Access: The user needs access to Billing and to all treatment reports in the organization. Users can also choose to keep the therapist focused homepage if they want by going to their User settings.

📢 What's new?: A new Billing home page shows billing staff, the moment they sign in, what newly needs their attention: rejected or denied claims, claims with errors, corrections waiting on a reference number, secondary claims to send, remittances that could not be matched, authorizations running out, and claims with no payer response. Each row can be marked as reviewed so teammates know it has been looked into, and each links to the record. The page also shows what arrived this week, the patients they were working on, their billing to-dos, the largest patient balances and the open totals per queue. The page is updated once a day, overnight, and shows when it was last updated. Billing to-do pages now also show the payer claim control number.
