👩‍⚕️ Clinicians / Therapists

  • Therapists at affected practices can open and save discharge forms normally, and images and videos are now kept when messages are edited.

🧑‍💼 Admins

  • Admins will see corrected discharge form behavior, preserved message attachments, and accurate patient statement charges and balances on newly generated statements.

💳 Billers / Guardians

  • Billers: Newly generated patient statements now show the correct Charge amounts and balances when visits and invoices have more complex billing relationships.

  • Guardians/Patients: No direct changes.

🛠️ Fix - Discharge Forms Load with the Initial Evaluation Date Component

👥 Audience: Therapists and Admins at practices whose discharge form template includes the Initial Evaluation Date component

📅 Date range affected: From when the component was added to a practice's discharge template until this fix is deployed. Most practices were not affected.

❗ Issue: We fixed an issue where the new discharge page would not load for practices whose discharge template included the Initial Evaluation Date component.

✅ Action Steps: None. The discharge form now loads and saves normally, and the initial evaluation date entered on a discharge is kept with the document.

🛠️ Fix - Images and Videos Are Kept When Editing Messages

👥 Audience: Ambiki employees, Therapists, Admins

📅 Date range affected: June 2023 – August 7, 2026 (resolved)

❗ Issue: Editing a message could remove images or videos that had been added to it.

✅ Action Steps: No action needed. Images and videos are kept when a message is edited.

🛠️ Fix - Patient Statements Show Correct Charge Amounts and Balances

👥 Audience: Admins, Billers

❗ Issue: We fixed an issue where a patient statement could show the wrong amount in the Charge column, and therefore the wrong balance, when one visit was billed on more than one invoice or when one invoice covered several visits.

✅ Action Steps: None. Newly generated statements show the correct amounts. Statements already saved keep the numbers they were generated with; regenerate one to pick up the correction.
