New features
- Custom discharges in the Custom Form System – build and edit your own discharge templates.
- Organization-wide required-intake-document rules – flag forms every patient must sign and trigger alerts automatically.
- Treatability status auto-updates to “Clinically discharged” when a discipline’s discharge is signed.
- Resources scoped to “only me,” “my org,” or “all Ambiki” with an approval flow for org-wide or public items.
- Admin notifications for new patient messages ensure incoming family questions reach the right staff.
- Test SMS reminders on fake patients without touching real data.
- Clear SMS opt-out error messaging clarifies why a text can’t be sent.
- Auto-remove discharged patients from all caseloads.
- Caseload access scoped by “view/add own” permissions.
- Automatic discharge actions – optional settings to inactivate patients, clear caseloads, and cancel future events.
- Schedule a help-desk meeting directly from any support message.
Bug fixes / improvements
- Patient phone numbers can now be deleted—and stay deleted.
- Diagnosis-code errors on some patient documents resolved.
- Intake-document attachment bug fixed.
- Discipline dropdown no longer crashes custom forms.
Billing

- Date-of-service (DOS) column added to invoices in the patient portal.
- Event-location → CMS-1500 Box 32 integration (payer-specific toggle).
- Choose a location when creating an event; address auto-fills and flows to visit notes.
Bug fixes / improvements
- ERA remittances now match the correct treatment report.
- Invoice-to-ERA matching reliability improved.
- Multi-insurance claim files generate correctly.
- Payroll now includes team members removed after the pay period.

- Reassigned events show up instantly on the new therapist’s calendar.
- Calendar modal stable when start time is unknown.
- Drag-and-drop failures now surface a clear error in the calendar.
