- Go to bed: Set your alarm clock to the time you want to wake up in the morning. Turn off any lights or electronics in your room. Pull back the covers of your bed. Sit on the edge of the bed, lift your legs into bed, and lie down. Get in a comfortable position. Pull the covers up. Close your eyes and go to sleep.
