Job Description
Reporting to the Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the President & Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for defining, driving, and executing on Ambiki’s business strategy related to customer acquisition, onboarding and long-term success. This includes determining and executing, based on the business strategy, the best go-to-market plans as well as to deliver first-class customer service and support. The President & CCO will have full customer life-cycle responsibilities and will include lead generation, sales, implementation and contract renewals. Key performance metrics for this role include:
- Driving new logo pipeline
- New logo acquisition/bookings
- Order-to-cash/client onboarding
- Customer success, renewals and expansions
The President & CCO will hire, develop and lead a coordinated, efficient, and high performing sales, marketing and client services organization that builds strong customer loyalty. This position will have responsibility for developing Ambiki’s go-to-market strategy but also working closely with the team on creating and driving tactical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Founder/CTO as a true business partner to build Ambiki into a highly successful business.
- Drive new client wins through the development and implementation of the company’s Sales Playbook.
- Set and implement Marketing Strategies that drive new pipeline opportunities.
- Set and implement Client Services/Implementation playbook and goals that deliver delighted customers.
- Define the key roles, hire and manage the Sales, Marketing and Client Services organizations.
- Design, implement, and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Ensure planning, forecasting, and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes within the organization.
- Design and implement an optimal go-to-market model based on market dynamics and business strategy, including sales roles, coverage models, and/or team configurations to maximize productivity.
- Provide strategic recommendations for effectively launching new products and services that deliver maximum value for Ambiki’s customers.
- Define optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure success as defined by increased revenue growth, increased market share, and strong margins.
About you / Experience
- Must have experience building and scaling sales, marketing and customer success teams in a SaaS business that has scaled from <$1M to >$10M in ARR.
- Must have built sales and customer success playbooks, designed sales, marketing and customer success processes as well as KPIs for all three functions.
- Extensive experience with Healthcare IT required, with Speech Therapy experience preferred.
- Ambulatory/ Provider Experience preferred.
- Bias towards action.
- Strong leadership skills required to manage and attract top performers.
- Must currently be a qualified ‘Commercial Leader’ with a track record of success delivering annual revenue targets.
- Data proficient and driven; the ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to team management and will ground their decision making in data / information.
- Must love being in the field with the team and willing to lead from the front while also managing an effective team at scale
- Will be able to identify challenges, develop initiatives and progress these in partnership with key internal stakeholders.

Location
Nashville, TN preferred. Eastern or Central Time Zone required. Significant domestic travel may be required.
