Full-Stack Developer (Remote)

Ruby on Rails JavaScript / Vue.js PostgreSQL

At Ambitious Idea Labs you'll work on developing Ambiki, a software application (Ruby on Rails) which touches on everything including teletherapy, billing, scheduling, tracking patient outcomes, as well as providing resources/tools for therapists to use in their treatment sessions.

This job requires that you:
  • Work closely with therapists and other users of Ambiki to ensure the tools you are developing fit their needs
  • Are capable of full-stack application development
  • Have a strong focus on application security
  • Design responsive interfaces keeping both desktop and mobile users in mind
  • Have a balanced and practical approach to development
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Promptly respond to user feedback, requests, etc.
  • Create features/products that are functional and easy-to-use
Bonus points for:
  • Previous experience managing a production Ruby on Rails application
  • Previous experience with WebRTC

Clinical/Technology Subject Matter Expert (Remote)

CCC-SLP, CF, SLPA, OTR/L, COTA, PT, or PTA Subject matter knowledge Writing

This work is ideal for salaried employees whose schools are on a break or are looking for summer work. We can create tasks to match availability, but ownership in tasks and a commitment to see the projects through to completion is desired.

AtAmbitious Idea Labs, the tech team needs help balancing the theoretical side of therapy with the practical, business, and tech side. We need individuals who will work closely with the Head of Clinical Strategy to champion projects.

These individuals will develop the foundations for tools that expand clinical knowledge into include real-world, digital applications (for example, expanding resources, marrying evidence-based practice theories into resources, tagging, data processing, digital literacy, and writing for the web).

This job requires that you:
  • Work with the Ambitious Idea Labs technology and clinical teams to evolve our digital platforms to meet the needs of our teammates, patients, and other customers.
  • Employ best-practice usability and user experience design principles taught by the Head of Clinical Strategy and members of the Tech Team.
  • Serve as a clinical/functional subject matter expert on the Ambiki.
  • Write content related to discrete areas of discipline.
  • Rewrite, group, label, and tag goals to follow recommended frameworks such as SMART, RUMBA, etc.,
  • Expand Resource Library products to scale based on therapist needs.
  • Analyze data available to improve the implementation of resources.
  • Meet deadlines established with the Head of Clinical Strategy, taking into consideration current clinical responsibilities.
For example, typical tasks may involve:
  • Creating goals, breaking them into components, and tagging them.
  • Creating activity lists, tagging them, and associating them with existing resources.
  • Writing major and minor focus area descriptions.
  • Creating resources for us in teletherapy or in-person sessions.

Most of this work will be completed independently, remotely, and on your own schedule but will require occasional collaboration with individuals across the company. A successful employee will be a self-starter, curious, and interested in expanding their clinical knowledge into allied areas of business and technology.

Marketing Associate (Remote)

OTR/L, COTA, PT, or PTA Marketing

At Ambitious Idea Labs, the Marketing Associate will help support and carry out the marketing responsibilities for a new SaaS product - Ambiki. This person will work closely with the Clinical Sales and Marketing Team to market and sell the product which is scheduled to launch Q1 2022. This tool will include scheduling, documentation, caseload management tools, a directory based on demonstrated expertise, and a best-in-class HIPAA teletherapy platform designed with the needs of SLPs, OTs, and PTs in mind.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support Clinical Marketing Team in day-to-day marketing responsibilities.
  • Create media and messaging to grow brand awareness and development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope and develop new products and services using software systems such as Asana and agile project management philosophies.
  • Perform tactical marketing responsibilities such as (potentially): managing social media, creating marketing collateral such as therapy resources, creating and running ads, creating landing pages, designing and writing emails, creating training videos, serving as a subject matter expert on the product, assisting with demoing the product to potential users.
  • Foster a spirit of partnership and inclusion within the company and the industry.
Education & Experience:
  • Someone who is or was once a clinician and has a Master‘s degree or a Doctorate in Occupational and Physical therapy.
  • Experience creating digital content and comfortable maintaining a social media presence.
  • Experience or familiarly with digital design or videography principles.
  • Teletherapy user and/or pediatric clinical experience.
  • HubSpot User, or similar CRM experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Broad knowledge of occupational, physical, speech therapy in schools, clinics, teletherapy, and other provider environments such as doctor’s offices and hospitals.
  • Ability to use data and other insights to identify trends.
  • Ability to use data to inform decisions and help make the lives of therapists better.

Work Environment:

The team works remotely. The Marketing Assistant will work asynchronously with teammates across multiple time zones. A work environment with secure internet access is required.

Clinical Support Analyst (Remote)

OTR/L, COTA, PT, or PTA Subject matter knowledge Clinical Expertise

At Ambitious Idea Labs, the Clinical Support Analyst will field support messages and requests from the customers for our new SaaS product - Ambiki. This tool will include scheduling, documentation, caseload management tools, a directory based on demonstrated expertise, and a best-in-class HIPAA teletherapy platform designed with the needs of SLPs, OTs, and PTs in mind. This person will act as a liaison and first point of contact between customers and our technology team to help prioritize and resolve questions and technical issues. They will perform independent analysis, evaluate root cause, and determine solutions or escalate as needed. The Clinical Support Analyst will maintain up-to-date documentation, resolutions, and projects. They may be asked to perform software quality assurance testing and write basic scripts. Additionally, they will assist in creating how-to videos for our current teammates for training on our in-house tech platforms.

Essential Functions:
  • Strong Customer Service skills.

At Ambitious Idea Labs, the Clinical Solutions Architect provides clinical guidance to improve our products and services while maintaining strong customer relationships customers for a new SaaS product - Ambiki. This tool will include scheduling, documentation, caseload management tools, a directory based on demonstrated expertise, and a best-in-class HIPAA teletherapy platform designed with the needs of SLPs, OTs, and PTs in mind. The Clinical Solutions Architect will perform technical, administrative, content, and project-based tasks. The work includes, but is not limited to, scoping out new features and ideas as well as troubleshooting, managing projects, fixing reliability issues, and tracking performance metrics.

Essential Functions:
